Pros
Good employee education program. As part of an acquisition, I was impressed by the trainer and the class on handling change. Individual employees at Microchip are very nice.
Cons
Also known as Microcheap. If you were offered a job, you accepted a pay cut which was supposedly made up for by their bonuses. You wouldn't know they had done more than 15 previous acquisitions. Processes for merger not well thought out. Why wait until we are about to be let go to ask us to pack boxes of records and provide instructions on where to get boxes, who to ship to, how to label?
