Pros

Great new offices (Pool table), good laugh with colleagues. Good benefits and sick pay. Managers are never around so plenty of time for chatting.

Cons

I joined Moorepay as a graduate on their Graduate scheme as I thought it would be a good springboard for a career in sales. A few of us joined but most saw the writing on the wall and have left. Moorepays training and induction is like someone reading a 1980's sales tutorial, it is totally unhelpful. Think of Suck, Granny, How, Teaching, Eggs and Too but placed in a different order! The managers that help with the training do not really have an idea what it is like to sell on the phone so they are not much help. We have high targets and are placed under a lot of pressure to sell, however we have very poor leads data and a complete lack of leads to go around. My manager has his favourites and they get all the easy conversions or passed leavers (there are many) pipelines. The manager is always in meetings and never wans or is able to help so I feel isolated. This is not the introduction to sales that I had expected and it seems that most people are unhappy here which makes motivating your self difficult.

Pros

Moorepay has a very supportive culture. The management team work closely with the teams to ensure they are supported in client meetings and outside of client meetings as well as on going product and process training. There are regular opportunities for development and promotion within Moorepay. Ideas and area's of improvement are welcomed and worked on. I would strongly recommend Moorepay as a place to work and develop your career.
