Bad Enviroment and Management
Pros
Good benefits, Holiday and pension. Good sick pay scheme .Not bad basic salary.
Cons
I could write an essay about this company and the goings on, however I will try to be to the point. As a field based sales person I have been totally unsupported, had no induction (this is the case with everyone) and have a manager that has no industry experience, selling experience or empathy with field sales. It feels like we are managed by theory and have a sales leader (calls himself a guru!) that must have read every sales manual but sadly never actually sold. The key management technique is fear closely followed by humiliation. I am not sure how a company can go so badly wrong but honestly feel that it is down to the management team. I am finding it had to earn the promised income here and feel mislead via the recruitment process. The staff are in most part very good, however different departments seem to work against each other rather than with. This creates silo's and obvious poor work relations. Rather than try to solve these conflicts management prefer to dig in and fight. Think very carefully about accepting any offer of employment with this organisation and look for the clues as you progress through the recruitment process. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
