Pros
With a lot of locations and positions, there are a lot of opportunities for growth. Overall benefits are decent. The work we do is rewarding. This isn't just another job, we are actually benefiting our communities.
Cons
As with most big corporations, it seems like the bottom line is valued over employees. Even though multiple locations can be a positive, in some ways it is negative. It is really hard to feel like part of the team. A lot of the time names are just thrown around that you have never worked with. It is hard to feel like we are all working together. Sometimes decisions that come down don't seem like they were well thought out. I'm sure there was time spent talking about them, but it leaves us scratching our heads sometimes. So, the goals aren't always obvious and management isn't good about helping us see the vision of them. Sure, there is always some email accompanying the changes, but it is pretty much left at that, no real way to ask meaningful questions and understand what is really going on.
