Cons
It’s just an absolute disgrace. Higher management are incredibly arrogant all whilst having no idea what they’re actually doing. It’s a bit like being in an episode of the apprentice with them blindly jumping through hoops for the chance of a back scratch from the CEO. INCREDIBLY clicky and although I managed to completely avoid the dive of an office in Nottingham, I was very aware of the bullying tactics used. On one occasion a member of staff wasn’t really fitting in so the term “we’ll just make it hard” was used. Unacceptable. The culture is based on who can do the stupidest stuff or drink the most instead of actually being useful. Chinese whispers from higher members of staff to frontline staff creating divides. The Manchester CS teams redundancy was mentioned almost 12 months before happening as the head of marketing said to a CS agent “the Manchester team won’t be around for long”…..nice one. On top of that slip up, which was left unpunished, they accidentally uploaded mine and my colleagues replacement on brightHR as “head of CS” before we were even redundant, however then claiming it was an accident and that’s not her role. Which is funny because that now is her role. When redundant, the same bloke who said we’d be gone, was actually my point of contact following redundancy. Firstly sending me entirely incorrect information to which I had to make him correct. THEN saying to ask questions if I had any further. I emailed upwards of 10 times chasing a single question and was ignored on every occasion. These are just a HANDFUL of things I can be bothered to reel off. Basically, if you want to be part of something where you can thrive. Avoid. If you want to be part of something where you can just be bang average and coast. This is the one for you.
