Unsustainable workload with low pay and high pressure - Purchase Officer NPI Solutions Employee Review

I was a 5 year employee of NPI, and would like to strongly recommend this business as an excellent place to work. It all starts with the CEO, who is a genuinely good person who cares about his employees. His Leadership sets the tone for the business and because of this, it creates an excellent work environment for their employees. In addition, there is a wonderful work family at NPI who openly provides both expertise and support. All in all, just very kind people who make the business what it is today. In terms of work, as with many small businesses, you have to wear a lot of hats, but this has helped me develop professionally as I was able to cover many different aspects of the job. This is a great place for people who are hungry for developing their expertise. Again, excellent organization with great people and an incredible CEO

None to write about today

4 years ago I had the choice of working in the Engineering Dept. of another large Silicon Valley corporation to once again work long hours under the directive of an unknown upper management and then hear later that they received all the accolades and bonuses - Or Work in the Design and Prototype Dept. of a small/medium privately owned and managed company called NPI Solutions? I choose to go with NPI Solutions and have been happy with my decision ever since because during my time here I have had the opportunity to work on many unique and challenging mechanical designs for customers who are THE major players in Silicon Valley. And I have also been exposed to the special world of contract manufacturing that NPI Solutions specializes in with regards to cables, harnesses and electronic enclosures.

So, is there a down side to working at NPI Solutions? There is a down side at every company and in my opinion the only down side at NPI Solution’s is that they do not have Billions of dollars in cash reserves. But the companies that now have Billions of dollars in cash reserves all started out as small companies and in my short time here at NPI Solutions I have witnessed and been a part of this company’s amazing growth and I look forward to the future.
