Pros

There are none, this was literally the worst job I ever had

Cons

The manager at the time was clinically unstable and would sing in the style of opera. I have no clue why she did it, maybe it was to disguise how bad at her job she was. She was a decent human being, in a plain, jolly hockey sticks kind of a way, but she was insane, truly terrible at understanding people or motivating a team. One of the other two management must have got the position purely because he was too feeble to have ever got another job elsewhere so simply stayed long enough to be promoted. I am sure he was an okay person and is kind to animals but being in the masons was the most dynamic thing about him. I became so used to seeing people crying I became desensitised to it. People were so miserable there that they would walk out with no job to go to. I was terrified that I would make six months and pass my probation period because it would mean that I would have to give a months notice so I took the first job offered to me. I kid you not. Christmas decorations went up in September and there was a Coldplay and slippers day. I think they did this stuff to try and trick you into not slicing your wrists with sharp objects from the kitchen. I have heard they have removed the canteen now, probably to stop suicide by butter knife.

Pros

I can't think of a single one except "regular" (though dismal) salary

Cons

Ageist, Obsessed with "woke" culture, Two-faced, Inept senior management. Complete lack of loyalty, but expects the ultimate from employees even reminding them of their "ongoing obligations to the company" after they have left. Woeful pension scheme which they reneged on twice previously.
