Hi there, thanks for your review and I'm sorry that this has been your experience at OneUp. It's not what we want for anyone.
I'm not sure if you're still working at the company (at a company this size, role/tenure are often faked to conceal your identity better which is completely understandable) but if you are, I'd encourage you to reach out to whoever you feel most comfortable talking to in the SLT to understand your experience in more depth, especially around the mismanagement and poor decisions you've mentioned. As I hoped you've experienced before, there's no retribution or punishment for sharing your feedback - we welcome it! Failing that, please feel free to use the appropriate channels to submit anonymous feedback.
The last two years have been difficult on a commercial front - we've not been tight-lipped about that, but the business is stabilising and we're doing our best to get growth back on the up with investment in new products and expanding into new markets. I hope the soon-to-close funding round demonstrates the belief in what we're accomplishing as a team, though I know we won't always get it right.
I do want to clarify for external readers your point about vibe coding - the non-dev you're referencing isn't vibe coding entire features. They're making small tweaks and changes to existing features, the biggest being to add a field to a form. Even as technical founders, we know trusting AI to build features for us isn't a wise decision right now, even moreso for non-devs, but these small changes ensure the devs can focus on things that require their skills over small amendments that (let's be honest 😉) they don't really want to have to do.
As said above, I'd love to hear from you via whatever means you feel most comfortable and I'm sorry that this has been your experience 💙
