Pros

I worked as a Customer Support Supervisor at OpenTable and had a genuinely positive experience. The leadership team cares about people, not just performance, and that showed in how feedback, career development, and well-being were prioritized. I felt trusted to make decisions, coach my team, and contribute ideas that shaped how support operated. Cross-functional collaboration was encouraged, and customer feedback really mattered, it wasn't just lip service. The culture is fast-paced but empathetic, and there's a strong sense of ownership across teams. If you’re passionate about customer experience and want to grow in a place that values people, OT is a great choice

Cons

The hybrid model requires being in the office three days a week, which isn’t very flexible, but it does help foster team connection and collaboration. It’s something to be aware of if you’re looking for full remote flexibility, but if you're ready to commit, the in-person time adds value.

Pros

* It's a great brand * Great partners * Decent product with strong distribution

Cons

* Management style was heavily top-down, with decision-making concentrated among a small group of senior leaders. * This was the same when they were all working at KAYAK under the same group * I observed what I felt was preferential treatment of certain employees (notably of a certain ethnicity - IYKYK), which negatively impacted perceptions of fairness and inclusivity within the organisation. * The workplace environment could be highly stressful, and concerns raised by employees were not always addressed effectively. * Staff wellbeing, retention, and morale appeared to be ongoing challenges during my time with the company.
