Orion Health Response
9yWe originally posted a short response to this review, but on reflection we thought it would be more helpful to provide a more detailed response addressing some of the points raised in this review. Please excuse the use of bullet points!
• Apple products – we equip our people with what we consider to be the best and most appropriate tools that we can. It really depends on the role as to what technology is used, but we would also recommend that our employees have a chat to their leader if they are finding they need to change.
• Tribal mentality – in the R&D team everyone is split into “tribes”; we’ve found it really helps with creating a sense of purpose amongst teams. All tribes are part of a Line of Business, the leaders of which are responsible for directing the overall strategy. We’ve had a lot of feedback from employees about wanting better communication around strategy and we’ve been working hard on improving the flow of information, including responding to employee feedback.
• We are very proud of our leaders, both their talent and capability and we absolutely back them to make the right decisions. We are disappointed that you didn’t feel you could share your concerns when you were here. We would urge all our team to raise concerns with either their direct leader or someone from the People team.
• Training and Onboarding - we have been working hard to make significant progress in improving our on-boarding program for new hires. We’ve created a PDP (Professional Development Plan) program to actively address individual career development goals, and we are providing growth opportunities, not only through internal promotions but also in assigning people with challenging assignments outside of their normal work scope.
• Customer focus – delighting customers is really important at Orion Health and learning to listen and act on their concerns is key to our success. Again, this is where having open conversations with your leader and your team is really important so that together we can help our customers.
• Our Glassdoor image – we do not ask anyone to post a review on Glassdoor, or any website – that they didn’t genuinely believe to be true.
I hope that this response helps clarify the issues raised in this review. As previously noted, we are working hard to address any concerns raised by the talented team we have at Orion Health.
