Pros

Option to work from home two days a week.

Cons

Below-market compensation. Limited opportunities for career progression and development. Insufficient onboarding and training and development for new employees. Employees are often expected to work independently without adequate support or guidance. Workplace culture can feel cliquish and exclusionary at times. Low levels of employee engagement and motivation. Significant reliance on outsourced work, which can impact team cohesion and development opportunities. Management quality is inconsistent, with limited support from some managers. Frequent travel requirements that do not always appear necessary for the role. Workplace culture can feel overly focused on pleasing management rather than encouraging open and constructive feedback. Employees may feel pressure to participate in social activities or maintain a particular image to avoid feeling isolated. Unprofessional behaviour, including workplace gossip and negative discussions about colleagues. Lack of transparency around organisational decisions, including redundancies. Unfriendly environment.
