Pros
The pay is great and for starting right out of college, it gets you good experience in the pharmaceutical industry and with different pieces of analytical equipment in the lab. They have numerous SOPs, electronic notebooks and training documentation ensuring that you are ready to do your job. The benefits are great, lunch is provided every day and insurance is free.
Cons
There is a lack of recognition of the work and achievements of the employees. On top of that, the president puts unnecessary pressure on employees to move projects forward unnecessarily and micromanages to ensure that he knows your are doing work. At the end of the day unnecessary stress is added to an already stressful environment, which is 50 hours a week instead of 40. The presidents sons also work at the company, causing internal political drama and adding to the stress of the job.
