Pros

- been in the company since 2022 and have stayed till 2025. - being able to have work, school and life balance. - nice colleagues (some only) - able to plot shift based on your availability

Cons

- toxic work environment - pt has little to no perks of getting our own incentives that we have to beg the ft to give us especially when we earned it. especially when we serve our own custs from the start to end. -full timers that plays hierarchy, cant be bothered to split the PWP incentive when part timers are the ones pushing their sales too. - management is horrible same as the boss LOL - standing long hours is fine by me but why arent we allowed to squat down for a few seconds at the cashier counter when no one is looking when theres only 1 staff in store? i understand that its bad image so maybe provide a chair? maybe the office people should come down to the stores physically and feel the pain that we feel when we work from 10:45am to 9pm with only 1 hour break time. - office people/management talking so much about how we are suppose to boost sales when theres nothing to boost. no NEW stocks are given to the outlet stores, and prices of the jewellery kept increasing. how are people going to buy when as simple as a stopper that used to be $59 goes up to $95? - just very very poor management from the higher ups

Pros

Easy scheduling, often works with vacations and time off requests to the best of ability including extended emergency time off, held jobs and re-hired as business allowed. Opportunities for monthly bonuses and commission on certain product; store manager does push for sales targets but also encourages and incentivizes wins and celebrations. Often brings snacks and drinks for the team. Contributed to a lot of the sales herself and always champions the wins for the store. Has won a few Pandora contests since I’ve worked there and taken the team out for events and fun activities to bond with, fill the fridge etc. Store manager is quirky but can tell enjoys the job. Would work here again.

Cons

Less room for advancement since it’s a franchise but always cross-training for future benefit

Pros

Customers, pay, benefits. That’s it

Cons

Little to no training. Instead of allowing me to complete all of my online training courses I was directed to constantly shadow staff on the sales floor. I wasn’t properly shown how to use the scheduling system or given the how to guides within proper timing. So I was trained on how to be a sales associate not a store manager. Then thrown into my permanent location during Valentine’s holiday. So I had to learn a lot in a short amount of time with no real help or guidance. District manager was very overwhelming and overbearing. Highschool mined staff who start drama and rumors. Staff also had a major entitlement issue, someone wanted the manger position but didn’t get it I guess. No one is genuine there or trying to help you as a new manager. There’s a strict phone policy however, main comms happen on your phone so the policy is highly contradictory. If you’re not overly chipper and a yes man your Dm won’t like you and may say something like “I don’t think you’re a good fit here” after your first meeting, they make you feel very uncomfortable. It was so bad the Macys workers would ask me if I was ok when my Dm wasn’t around!! The energy is really bad here RUN!
