Sexism is rampant, at least in the technical positions. There is a DEI effort but ironically some of the worst offenders are part of it -- apparently the lack of women in tech isn't of concern to a bunch of aging privileged white guys. And that IS the culture of engineering leadership: clueless that anyone has ever had an experience that doesn't include tapping the shoulder of your privileged-white-guy pals from Berkeley or Apple whenever you need something.
If you're a woman and go to work here in Engineering, expect to have zero support while you try to prove yourself (because it will be assumed that you can't possibly have any expertise as a woman), be bypassed for any promotions, and be micromanaged to the point of being told what to post on Slack (and when).
HR means well but is powerless to change anything. Best just to avoid this company altogether.
Also, pay is good but benefits are bad. I took a $25K salary cut to go to a decent company, but my take-home pay is higher because I'm not paying for all of my benefits and my 401k.
