Great training and a very respected within the outside sales industries. After a year or so recruiters from medical device and pharma sales will be all over you.
Cons
Benefits are poor which is ironic considering Paychex brokers 401(k)s but doesn't offer a match. Because the profitability of the company is directly tied interest rates overall revenue profit has fallen 79% form 2008 to 2009 (available in company annual reports). This has led to extreme micro management. While the techniques used by management can be effected many tenured reps (5+ years) are looking for other options. There is also a real lack of consistency from top management down. The executive cabinet has become a revolving door which sends mixed messages to the sales force.
