Pros

The people I work with are all focused on delivering a quality product to our customers. Great partnership and hard working individuals throughout the organization. Frequent bonuses, standard benefit packages, cool offices and fun swag. Huge party/drinking culture if that’s what you’re into.

Cons

Paylocity likes to market itself as a progressive company at the forefront of diversity and inclusion with a welcoming environment. If you’re cis, white and play golf you’ll go far here. Is there a new job opening and you have little to no experience but you know the VP or director for that department? No problem, you're hired! Sure the regular workforce is diverse and they send their token POC managers to recruiting events and public conferences but that’s about it. Executives are mostly white and male. Little minority representation in senior leadership. Seriously, look at Linked In to try to find a director or c level that is a person of color. Go ahead, I'll wait. I hope that Paylocity actually works towards changing their culture, listens to their employees and does something about all of the inequality and inequity that happens within their organization. I'm hopeful that if more people speak up, voice their concerns, leave honest and truthful reviews on Glassdoor then things will change.

Pros

Work remote. Fantastic leaders, Definitely a place I have enjoyed working.

Cons

Pay is slightly less than competitors but work life balance and culture make up for it.

Pros

Great benefits; 90% of the ppl that worked there were the best and really did great work.

Cons

Made employees choose between having MLK Day off or Juneteenth- both which are federally recognized holidays. Excuse was that our customers are open on those days so we need to be open. So as a company, we had to pick which would be a paid holiday and everyone chose Juneteenth because it was in the summer. I think we got a floating holiday to use for any other holiday we wanted off that wasn’t recognized by the company. As you can imagine, this racism was prevalent in management/leadership. My team was the most diverse team and we all got restructured/laid off. There’s a lot of ego and control issues in this company, especially in Talent Acquisition.
