Pros

- Many entry level positions available - Good pay for uneducated positions - As a company Petsecure works hard to develop their employees. Certifications / further education is strongly supported if that is something you're interested in pursuing. - Good culture / work environment, relaxed workplace - Many opportunities to move both vertically or horizontally within the company, and a fair bit of support is available to help make those changes over time.

Cons

- Top down micromanagement can be a problem - Repetitive, and at times frustrating work - Lack of communication can be problematic, especially between departments.

Pros

Excellent salary. Rotating shifts allow for more frequent long weekends. Excellent training program. Passionate about their product and their clients.

Cons

Daily stress (which always comes with working customer service). Also having to explain to clients why claims were denied causes stress. Working until 10pm weekly. Moving up in the company may prove to be a challenge, many positions are capped at entry level.

Pros

Generally good company. They like pets naturally. Nothing else outstanding

Cons

They really got upset at the notion of working from home. No work life balance. They said the head office in Alberta does not like people working from home. It is hard to imagine those attitudes these days. I am not in a call centre role even. That's just terrible. Also there have been a lot of firings of late. We now have an interim president and no other leaders. It's an awful environment. Nobody mot gates you any more.
