Pros
1. Product based e-commerce company that runs and end-to-end business from customer experience to supply chain operations and logistics. So good exposure in various business verticals. 2. My business understanding improved a great deal here. They hustle to no bounds to improve business. 3. Nothing else. There are much better companies to work for that are willing to pay even more. Wait till you read the cons and hope a wise decision is taken regardless of whatever money is thrown at you.
Cons
1. The organisation is no more a start-up. Unnecessary hierarchy, insane egos, toxic politics, work load pushover from senior to junior, low salary increments. 2. They still want to run like a start-up. Extended work hours, unreasonable work expectations. 3. The company has gone on to hire a whole lot of average talent that become mere implementors of a few senior decision makers. So peer talent is diluted along with the opportunity to be heard or make a difference just by the sheer number of employees they have hired. A very MNC kind of employee experience. 4. They treat their employees pathetically, particularly in recent times. This wasn't the case pre-2019. 5. The mentality of a couple of Business heads and founders is a shame. Quite cheap, insecure and NON-TRANSPARENT. Zero class and integrity. This culture precipitates through to the mid to lower levels. 6. Only they know what they have done with their ESOPs policy and restructuring - the ESOPs they have assigned their employees (without employees' choice) in exchange for paycuts at what specific valuation and the encashing the founders have done themselves. All a shady game. 7. A few more, but that's confidential and I value integrity so can't share.
