Pros

If you work in the cosmetic/ skincare side? Discounts. Avène is a great brand and well received.

Cons

The February 5th review here is 100% accurate — and unfortunately, since it was written, things have only deteriorated. Leadership changes have brought an aggressive, hyper-micromanagement style, nitpicking every minor detail instead of focusing on meaningful strategy. The work environment has become tense and unproductive as a result. For Q2, the company chose not to pay incentive compensation based on AWR or physician survey results — metrics that representatives have almost no influence over. This decision has severely damaged trust and morale, which was already quite low. Turnover is high, territories remain unrealistic in size, and management continues to place blame and pressure on sales representatives without keeping their promises. If you’re reading this while considering a position here, take the previous reviews seriously — and think twice before accepting an offer.

Pros

One of the positives of the role was the company itself—the products were strong, I really liked the flexibility in the hours, and the commute and location were very convenient. There were also a lot of good options nearby for food, which made the day-to-day experience more enjoyable.

Cons

That said, there were definitely challenges within certain departments that made things harder than they needed to be. Communication wasn’t always consistent, and at times there was a lot of micromanaging and internal tension that made collaboration difficult and slowed things down. It wasn’t the easiest environment to work in, but it did make it clear to me the type of culture I work best in, one with clearer communication and better alignment across teams.
