Pros
I enjoyed building rapport with the customers and employees, but you get that in any retail setting.
Cons
Like the rest of the retail world, salary means you work a lot of hours. I did average about 50 most of the time, but some weeks were 60-70. The pay is not great- I made a lot more at Walgreens for the same position. The corporate support system is not that good. The computers are always having some kind of problem- some issues go on for months without being addressed. We had 30 year old gas pumps that the techs had problems finding parts for. They were constantly messing up and it frustrated the customers. It was frustrating listening to the complaining from the customers when it wasn't our fault. The employees' pay was pitiful. This led to high turnover. They cut hours during the winter, so everyone had to get used to making less money during this season. Not really fair in my opinion
