Pros
Some nice people still work there. A few people actually cared about their job performance and service to members. Good place to pick up job skills for use somewhere else.
Cons
Beware!! This is a dysfunctional organization. Training is sub par but is offset by helpful co-workers. A lot of people struggle to do their jobs because management is unsupportive and only worry about pleasing a deranged CEO whos sole mission is to run this organization into the ground. Think “Trump” with all the mind games and demands for loyalty at your expense. He doesn’t care for his employees and will humiliate them by berating, demoting and eventually firing them. Staying there is like trying to make an abusive relationship work. And if you are management you will either go along with him and his nonsense and treatment of staff or you won’t be there for long. Again, if you have other opportunities I say take them. But if you are looking for a place to learn some skills I’d say it’s good training ground but take it as training and move on. This toxic work environment is not a good representation of credit unions and businesses as a whole. You bring so much stress home with you everyday that it takes a toll on you physically and mentally. Strongly avoid if possible!
