Pros
Good to get foot in the door of the industry.
Cons
The company expects insanely high turnover rates. The amount of work each employee is expected to perform in a regular work day is not reasonable which requires almost everyone to work overtime which is usually not paid. A lot of people get into the field because they want to feel like they are helping people in some way. The problem is that every day is a tornado of work and fires to be put out. No one has a minute to appreciate the clinical trials we work on and the potential to be a part of changing peoples lives for the better. Instead, people are only trying to survive the workload, trying not to get fired, and looking for other jobs with better work/life/pay/benefits. This job would be much more fulfilling if we had 5 minutes to appreciate the work we do. Most of us wouldn’t even know where to put those 5 minutes in our Actitime.
