Pros

The healthcare you get is pretty nice due to the fact that ProMedica owns its own insurance policy. The CEO is pretty cool.

Cons

The IT department moved everyone into one of those "open concept" buildings, where all the cubes are half-walls and you get absolutely ZERO privacy, and by privacy I don't mean "space to watch Netflix" I mean "space to get work done without 8 people noticing your presence and bombarding you with stuff to do." That said, the way the layout is, it very much does have a feeling that whatever boss (CTO, Directors, Managers) wants to do so, is fully capable of standing in a corner and just watching all his little minions work, and to be honest that's all I ever felt like that "open concept" thing was for. They moved their most seasoned employees from their own offices in a remote place, free from being bothered with a door that could be closed when working on important tasks, to collaborating WITHOUT option. If you want a place to work that is free from interruption, you literally have to book a conference room or call off sick and VPN in. Oh and there is absolutely ZERO chance of being paid what the same job would pay in another city. Their constant excuse for that is "we pay what other employers in the area pay for this work" well news flash- you're pretty much the only employer IN this area, so you set the curve. Funny how that works. Finally, there is just NO opportunity to move up in this company. Reviews are carefully organized so you JUST skate under the "worthy of a promotion" line, and even if you did, they seem to refuse to hire from the inside, instead they hire complete idiots for second tier jobs over the people that have been there for years working tier 1 and then that poor tier 1 guy has to clean up the mess from the tier 2 guy sucking at his job years on. I don't think I saw a single manager or director be "applied to" while I was there- you were either magically "selected" or they hire from the outside. Bottom line, if you like making mediocre at best pay, zero chance at promotion, and having absolutely no sense of control over even your own space because even if you do a good job, big brother is always watching, just waiting for you to open Facebook once, then ProMedica is just a swell place to work.

Pros

Im not an employee past or present im an applicant. For a job position.

Cons

Ive applied for the position as a painter and in the job description it stated the annual pay scale I placed my scale between the offered scale range on the lower side my application was denied because the position doesn't match my salary requirements and we will be pursuing other candidates at this time. There isnt away to contact or to adjust my my information or even I was surprised to receive a rejection based on salary requirements for the Painter role, as the amount I provided falls directly within the pay scale range stated in the job description. I am highly interested in this position and remain flexible on compensation. Is there a way to manually move my application forward for further consideration?
