Pros

Good benefits package. Nice office.

Cons

I was employed as a HR Advisor at Project One in the Holmes Chapel office working directly for the people Director. I had a horrendous experience whilst there which ultimately I had to resign with immediate effect after 4 months due to my manager using bullying tactics which effectively impacted my health. These included being made to feel incompetent in my role by being ridiculed in meetings, being set to fail by giving me targets that I was unable to achieve as I wasn’t able to complete them whilst I was off being part time, given no KPI’s or guidance on my role. My line manager claimed every task was urgent and clearly didn’t like me for whatever reason.

Pros

The company offers a competitive compensation and benefits package and organises staff events and appreciation gifts. It also supports charitable initiatives.

Cons

The workplace culture lacks collaboration and is frequently affected by unprofessional behaviour and bullying, Poor interpersonal dynamics and the absence of psychological safety contribute to a toxic and demotivating environment. There is a lack of investment in employee development, with minimal training and learning opportunities to support professional growth.
