Pros
- Competitive salary - regular social nights - directors always available for advice
Cons
I worked at this company for under a year. As you would expect from a recruitment company there was a very high turnover- this included directors, staff who had been there over a year and people who had only been there for 1 week. Many people found it difficult to get regular/ large commission unless you were put into the right market. Not helped by many industry companies not wanting to work with Project resource due to past experience. There is a very specific type of person who would suit this office and unfortunately anybody else is bullied till a point of quitting (Happened countless times). Very sexist culture where you are regularly going to see and hear inappropriate and worrying stories, many of which include staff getting so drunk they were "over friendly" with unwilling female staff. Culture in office is beyond banter and more continuous sexism which was encouraged by directors and seen as boring if you stand up for yourself. There is a handful of staff (3) that has been in the London office for over a year. So a lack of experienced staff members to help. Having spoken to people who have left this company and gone to other recruitment companies Project resource was a very negative experience of recruitment with all the negatives of a competitive and bullying culture and perks which you can get at every other recruitment company. Overall not a positive work environment and unless some serious anti bullying/ anti sexist policy comes in people will keep leaving in their droves, each with the same negative attitude.
