Good place to work - its what you make of it - Personal Trainer Pure Gym Employee Review

Pros

Plenty of members. Don't have to pay rent, you can do 15 hours on gym floor doing classes and speaking to members. Make your own prices and all the money you earn is yours. You can make a huge amount of money if you are good enough at what you do.

Cons

Takes a while to build up client base. So don't expect much money for at least the first 6 weeks. Good to start off with a secondary part time job to get yourself through the first few months.

Pros

The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

Cons

Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.

We can see that you may be working with us currently, so would suggest that you reach out to either your Regional Manager or your HR Business Partner who will do their best to support.
