About as entry-level as you can get. - Inside Sales Q1 Productions Employee Review

Pros

Leave early on Friday. Holidays off. Job requires little independent thought, if that's your thing.

Cons

Micromanaged, everyone has to take lunch at the same time. Work day starts at 8:00 but you are scolded if you are not at your desk working by 7:55. This job is more like an assembly line than a sales job. 100+ calls a day, you are forced to follow a script, which includes lying to prospects. You have to find your own leads (which is basically using your managers LinkedIn account), and there is no lead management, so prospects are being called multiple times a day, by multiple reps, and it's actually encouraged by management. The salary is peanuts. After working for a year, I realized it's rare to make over $1,000-$1,200 a month in commission. This is a sub $40K a year job.

Pros

A loyal following by long-term employees. The business knows where it is headed.

Cons

Not really anything outside of a normal culture where different groups congregate.
