Pros

Qualia really has no parallel in the industry and that's putting it mildly. The software is so far beyond the competition that it actually kind of causes problems in a way. The biggest challenge in selling Qualia is that many prospects don't have any idea what they're missing out on. Imagine being the only person in the world celling cell phones and hearing people say "but yeah, I've got a cordless phone... it's the same thing right?" Good problem to have I suppose. The company is well run. Execs know what they're doing and are very transparent. Like many others, we had to make cuts a few months back but CEO took full ownership and made no excuses. And, unlike so many others, the strategy was cut once and deep and be done with it. So we haven't had the completely depressing "layoffs every few months" thing that so many of my colleagues are dealing with at other companies. Very fair comp structure also. This has improved steadily over the years so ignore anyone who says otherwise.

Cons

This is an old school industry and we're still viewed as the new kid, even 8 years later. There is definitely a some negative perception about Qualia out there from some of the "in" crowd that resents that we showed up to the title party uninvited. Don't get me wrong, nobody complains about the product. There's zero dispute there. And the negative perceptions are just that... perceptions. And not even accurate ones. But it can be a challenge from time to time on the sales side.

Pros

The title industry is surprisingly engaging, especially if you enjoy working with customers and partners. It combines real estate, law, finance, and organization into one complex and fast-moving environment. Benefits are strong, and many roles offer flexibility in scheduling, which makes day-to-day work more manageable. The company also puts effort into employee experience, including great office perks. The software itself is genuinely impressive, and leadership is clearly invested in pushing the boundaries of what technology can do.

Cons

Career advancement lacks transparency and can feel dependent on internal relationships rather than clearly defined performance metrics. Despite opportunities to grow within a role, upward mobility is limited, and newly created positions are not always broadly accessible. Employees should be aware of these dynamics when considering long-term growth. Eyes wide open here.
