Working at Questrade over the past year felt like watching a bunch of consultants shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic. A once-solid company deteriorate into one of the most toxic work environments I’ve ever experienced. They fire talent like they’re picking names of a hat, inexplicably keep the most mundane projects under NDAs [and then wonder why they keep botching launches] and the most powerful person at the company seems to be a random mid-level manager openly campaigning to get his boss fired while running all of his company work through his personal ChatGPT account.
