Pros

Some decent benefits on paper Interesting work in wealth management when you're not drowning hybrid working

Cons

Severe burnout culture No recognition or empathy from leadership Constant physical stress symptoms Politicised and unhealthy environment I joined Quilter with high hopes, but the reality has been one of constant exhaustion and a deeply unhealthy working environment. The pace is relentless. Seniors seem to believe there are 48 hours in every day, piling on impossible workloads and deadlines while openly grumbling or making passive-aggressive comments What makes it worse is the complete lack of empathy. When you're clearly struggling with stress (the constant knot in your stomach and tightness in your chest is now normal), there's no real support. Mental health is talked about in company communications, but in practice it's ignored. Quilter may deliver strong financial results for the business, but at the individual level this is not a healthy place to work, especially "at this level" of intensity. Some stakeholders actively work against you rather than with you, creating a toxic, political atmosphere where you're constantly watching your back The burnout is real, and it’s not sustainable long-term. I would not recommend working here unless you have unlimited personal resilience and don’t mind sacrificing your wellbeing.

Pros

Potential for growth Great work environment Good benefits and PTO Quinn does mini "courses" every few weeks to improve skills such as: quote writing, pitching real estate vs travel clients etc.

Cons

Work/life balance really depends on what team you're on and portfolio Senior management needs work and should be more hands on Senior management should interact more with junior staff on a daily basis Need to pay more attention to junior staff Too many internal meetings
