Pros

You'll really love your next company or retirement

Cons

Culture-bullying, bullying is wider accepted by Senior Managers. Career Progression, in the 3 years I worked their, pay rises we're frozen. I know no one who was promoted or given new opportunities. Managers only care for themselves, and their own survival. You'll get thrown under the bus.

Pros

10% pension. Plenty of overtime available

Cons

This company says they pride themselves on mental health. I have managed to have a breakdown in the office in full view of people including my then manager and someone who was my incoming manager, and nothing was done. Other times when talking to management about mental health I then received an e-mail from the very person causing the issue saying "I understand you've talked to management about this." This time last year the team I was part of had around 20+ people in. Now it's down to just 2. The workload hasn't changed, and processes are just as unknown as they were a year ago. Recent platform change has meant that issues are now being caused by a team that we are unable to get in contact with, meaning that we are forced to go through messages from platform users who have issues, but are not able to do anything other than pass it on.

Pros

The people you work with are usually nice

Cons

Terrible management, disregard for employees wellbeing, terrible pay even with bonuses. Depressing environment. They have been attempting to launch a new platform for 7 years now, for the last 2 years they have told us they're making us redundant but it's a carrot and stick situation, every couple months the goalpost is moved further and further back. I have missed out on job opportunities, I have missed out on salary increases and a betterment of my career due to the fact this 'redundancy' keeps coming within reaching distance and then snatched away again. Seems they are strategically doing this in hope that people will just quit so they don't have to pay out. I used to enjoy this role, now I come to work hopeless and depressed waiting for the end.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re sorry to hear your feedback and would encourage you to contact us directly at recruitment@quilter.com Our platform transformation that you refer to has been ongoing for a number of years, it’s a high profile project with the potential to revolutionise the way we interact with our advisers and customers. We’ve made public commitments around the care we will take to ensure we deliver our new platform smoothly, with minimal disruption and plenty of support. As such the timescales and resourcing needs have been more fluid. As we meet each of our agreed milestones we reassess the resource and timeframe required to meet the next. We acknowledge that this may leave you in an uncertain position and would encourage you to have regular, honest conversations with your line manager about your role and your career goals. At Quilter we’re keen to work with our people to allow them to develop and fulfil their potential. We have a number of opportunities across the group, all of which would be very pleased to receive internal interest. To take a look at our available roles you can head to our careers page which is accessible via the intranet, or contact the recruitment team for support.
