Pros
- Get to work with great people - Typical work time 9-5 - Clean facilities, no power outage issues
Cons
- CEO micromanagement: Okay, so the company is great overall. But micromanagement is holding it back. A lot of talented folks left the company just because of this. Everything is decided by him. No HR nothing can represent employees. They encourage employees to just take it to the CEO directly (they == CEO) but that’s not how it works anywhere else. - No team building. There should be company fund to have at least team building activity once a year. - External naive employees are told (again by the CEO because he is the CEO, the HR, management, everything) that they can become internal employees and travel internationally to get them to continue to work at their best. - Very few outsiders know about Redmath. They should be going to university job fairs and interact with people directly. - A few team leads do not realize that employees have families and working here doesn’t mean they’ll switch off their phones and quit their families. When some people especially females take a day off to take of their sick children they are judged harshly.
