Pros
You know...normally I'd say "working remotely is a huge perk" but Raintree finds a way to take even that and make it a negative. I guess the stress-induced weight loss was a nice touch? I haven't needed a haircut since I pulled all mine out in frustration.
Cons
How much time do you have? There is zero work/life balance with any position in this company. If you are effective in your role, you'll be rewarded with more work, not more money, not even a thank you. The old leadership is ineffectual, the new leadership is a blend of kiss-ups and deeply offensive bullies and I say that as someone who can't remember the last time they were offended prior to this job. The folks who actually know how to manage the product as it exists today are treated like they're second-class citizens. They're constantly being told they're not doing "it" right but won't be told what "it" is. Once you figure out what "it" is, that will change to something else. No training will be provided on this it, previous its, or future its, you're responsible for figuring that out on your own...you know...with all the free time you have without work/life balance. The pay is below average, the product is below average, the leadership is below average. The only thing above average in this company is the stress and the desire to leave. I'm on my way out the door, and I wouldn't be shocked to find quite a few other folks are as well.
