Pros
Working for a company thats working towards saving lives.
Cons
RelayTx has faced a series of challenges that are concerning for its employees and stakeholders. Over the past several months, the company has been quietly implementing layoffs across various departments, including R&D, IT, Operations, Legal, and Recruiting. Unfortunately, these layoffs have not been accompanied by transparent communication, leaving many employees disheartened and fostering a growing sense of distrust in the leadership team. Additionally, our HR department appears to have become excessively controlling over the past few years, with numerous approval requirements for even the simplest of actions like hosting a training or sending a MS Teams message to the company. This bureaucracy can stifle creativity and hinder the company's growth and cultural development. It is essential to strike a balance between governance and flexibility. It's unfortunate that the Chief People Officer is building an empire instead of doing what's best for the company. Lastly, the fluctuating stock price raises concerns about the effectiveness of the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Corporate Development in steering the company in the right direction. It may be time for the CEO, Sanjiv, and the board to evaluate the leadership team's performance and make any necessary adjustments to ensure the company's long-term success.
