- When I started here, I was ambitious, confident and celebrated in my field. When I left, I was so torn down, abused and defeated that I questioned whether I was good enough to be working within my discipline and was considering a full career change.
- Extreme sexism, gaslighting and abuse. Newcomers to Canada are often paid far less than their white counterparts for the same roles. Women are routinely passed over for promotions and treated with an immense double standard in comparison to their male counterparts.
- Many recruiters in Eastern Canada gave told me directly that they don’t want to touch this place with a ten foot pole because its reputation has gotten to be so bad.

Client industries are legally questionable at best. This creates extreme secrecy and an environment that's okay with bending the rules, trickling into how employees are treated and what kind of behaviour is tolerated.
