It was a great place to be, I enjoyed every minutes of it. The 4 founders were great people.

A bit messy at times, people had to wear multiple hats but overall, it was great.

The people doing the actual work are some of the smartest, nicest people in the business.

Before November 2022, TickSmith was the best company I had ever worked for, full of brilliant people who would treat you with respect and who would support each other. In less than a year, the new CEO and the rest of the executive team have run that company into the ground with stupid decision after stupid decision, while always shifting the blame to the same scapegoat: the developers trying to execute their unfocused, ever-changing vision while management meddles with their focus at every turn. The company has some of the most narcissistic, delusional, dishonest management I have ever had the misfortune to work with, and I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole; unless it is to grill marshmallows whenever they inevitably crash and burn, which will most likely happen within the next year.
