Pros
"It pays the bills" is the only way I would describe this place in a positive way. My review is neutral, after all.
Cons
Employees are resources and capital, not people. This corporation contributes to the decline of a truly democratic capitalist society of the US into a neofeudal state where business corporations decide whether or not individuals have full rights associated with legal personhood. When you're at Rockwell know your place and don't speak your mind; don't even think about the outside world or your life as a whole, for you are a tool and not a person. When we told a corporate agent visiting our plant about the heart attacks two of our coworkers had which coincided with the extreme overtime schedule that has been implemented, he responded, "We're all makin' sacrifices!" Middle management here at the Twinsburg, OH plant is purposely devious, keeping information secret from us floor workers, and if that wasn't enough, their policy is one of tearing people down instead of supporting staff. Their practice is to lie to us about it working hours to keep us from making plans outside of work, and to hide all sorts of information from us. Our team leads expect us to lie to upper management for them, and blame us for "throwing them under the bus" when we tell truths. Upper management lies to our faces about the work we do and pass the buck down to us when their policies fail. pretty standard stuff for corporate America.
