Pros
The amount of support and recognition received, even at the lowest level positions, is insane! I got out of the Army two years ago, I was honorably discharged, and wanted to return to civilian life. I knew i wanted to do sales, so I started at a car dealership. It was terrible. No integrity, no leading by example, and the work to pay ratio was pathetic for 80% of the employees there. So I switched to insurance. I did that for a year and excelled at it from the beginning, but the employer lied from the start about my pay and kept stringing me along with promises of the future. Which warranted yet another change. This brought me groveling to Safe Haven. After the first hour on the first day, I felt like part of the family. I couldn't have paid for better training. The regional manager and his assistant manager were absolute geniuses, and the audio training I was given access to was second to none. I started on a Monday, got my first sale on that Thursday, another on that Saturday, and two on the following Monday. That evening, Regional Managers from around the country were blowing up my phone congratulating me on my success and welcoming me to the Safe Haven Family. I repeated for another two sales the following day. Their whole environment is the most positive, enjoyable work environment I have ever been in. Everyday, all the sales agents sit down around a table and perform some kind of refreshment training, whether its role playing the entire process, or receiving deeper information on how and why we have to remember to do certain things or start doing them for us new guys. The walls are covered with plaques various agents in the office were awarded monthly for meeting a certain quota, most which belonged to the regional manager, a very reassuring fact. The National Director of Sales, don't even get me started explaining how legit this guy is, even flew out to our region to tell us we were doing a great job, meet everybody, and took us all out to lunch! Its not slimy deceptive sales like with cars, or annoyingly pushing unwanted products into peoples hands, its meeting new people everyday, and seriously, truly improving their lives. No other security system can even come close to competing with ADT, ugh, i don't want to give away too much info about it, but honestly, the amount of support, recognition, appreciation, training, and compensation received by working for Safe Haven is something I have not experienced anywhere else job wise.
Cons
Honestly, if comparing it to a typical 40 hour work week, one could say the hours, but you have to keep in mind, the pay is A LOT better than that of your typical 40 hour a week job. LOL but other than that, I would have to say listening to all the cheesy inspirational one liners dropped on you throughout the day!
