At the corporate level, Safran Group has the right priorities and is a good company with a long-term strategy
Cons
At the local site level, in the US, you don't necessarily experience what is presented at the corporate level in Europe and the short term financial goals drive the agenda

Hello and thank you for your feedback. Safran strives to maintain high values and focuses on long-term strategies so we can continue to grow as a global leader in our field. We want to continue to provide our employees with a stable, thriving work environment and our customers with the best service. We are happy to answer any questions or additional feedback you may have and strongly encourage you to contact your local HR business partner for further discussion.
People are treated very well at Safran. They might not be the highest paying Aerospace company in the USA, but they have great benefits, management, and people. And still, the pay is usually competitive.
Cons
The headquarters are in France and therefore you need to be open to a different culture. Additionally, French and English are used sometimes in communications.
Many learning opportunities for troubleshooting different types of avian generator control units.
Opportunities to work with a variety of engineering departments including production, test, quality, and industrialization.
Occasional overtime opportunities.
Cons
High stress due to production deadlines, especially at the end of month.
Miscommunications due to constant reprioritizing of needs.
Difficult to move from short term (1 year+ only) contracts to full time positions.
