Pros

My work mates are amazing. Good benefits

Cons

Poor raises. Definitely do not keep up with cost of living increases. Upper Management give zero support. Short handed all the time. You have to wait from 10 yrs of service to 20 yrs of service to get more vacation days. The 10 yr span is excessive. Bereavement leave needs to be better. Definite favoritism and lots of bullying allowed. Even after it has been reported. They keep people who should have been let go, then let go of people who should have stayed. New employees often get paid more than senior workers. HR shuts down and does nothing to help employees. Seen manufacturing people drink or at lease toss empties into dumpster and smoke or at least charge their pot pens at work. Nothing is done about it. They fired a lady because 1 or 2 new people didn't like her. I have learnt that she had to be medicated, put on constant steroid use, and painkillers to be able to come to work. All because she was injured at the same workplace. She also has side-effects from the years of prescription steroid use. A very tense work environment with lots of harassment. You can still get in trouble even if you follow your managers instructions to the letter. Unsafe work environment in some areas of manufacturing.

Cons

High stress due to production deadlines, especially at the end of month. Miscommunications due to constant reprioritizing of needs. Difficult to move from short term (1 year+ only) contracts to full time positions.
