Pros
No pro's except perhaps in the London office there some nice people working there.
Cons
-no clear career progression, with rampant favoritism towards certain individuals in regards to future job /promotion opportunities. -Saltgate love to put pictures of team members forced to smile in pics on LinkedIn. Most pictures depict staff making cakes for colleagues to show how much diversity there is in SG but in reality there is hardly any diversity in senior or managerial positions. -Senior Management are utterly inept, take no action to stamp out blatant bullying especially in the London and Jersey offices and listen to the people actually helping run this business. I have heard complaints from many of my colleagues in confidence. HR never do anything about it, -Micromanaging is another bug bear and continually seems to happen as there is no trust. Using systems to check up on staff is not cool! if you don't trust people then you should not employ people! -Growth of the company relies on its ability to scale, SG clients have all voiced concerns regarding scalability. This doesn't look like it's going to change. -Systems are still mediocre and one peice of software or even a upgrade takes forever to implement. -I am looking to leave asap. This place is dragging me down mentally and physically, I have also heard many of my colleagues feeling very similar to this.
