Pros
Most of my co-workers were really great and understood why I wanted to quit this job.
Cons
Let me just start of by saying I signed up to be a cashier and they hired me as a Member Greeter because "they weren't looking for any cashiers". Three days later they hired 5 cashiers. So that made me angry from the start. Second, when you're at the door, you don't get to sit, so 6-8 hour days feel like complete Hell. Third, I didn't even want to consider being a cashier after some of my co-workers told me that if you don't sell any "Plus" memberships or credit cards, I would be written up and possibly fired for not being an asset to the company. Forth, the day before I quit, I needed to go to the bathroom while I was on the clock. So I did what I was told in the beginning, have the other member greeter watch both the entrance and exit while you're in the bathroom. So when I came out of the bathroom, both of the supervisors that were on duty that day were standing outside of the bathroom entrance and started chewing me out for going to the bathroom without telling them. Since when did I need to announce to all of the associates that I had to go to the bathroom? And why would I want to tell them? Cause then I'd have to wait for about 15 to 30 minutes for them to find someone to send down to the door to take my spot for literally 2-5 minutes tops. And what made me even more upset with them, the fact that they literally met me right outside the bathroom and chewed me out in front of at least 10 members. Not only was I embarrassed, but it made me really angry too.
