Pros

- Fully remote - Some nice people working there - Solutions are good - In some teams a good life/work balance is encouraged and not difficult to maintain

Cons

- Complete lack of direction and clarity from management. Direction and goals constantly change with no plan in place and people are treated like they should already have been working in one direction when in reality they were actually told to work in another. - Two-faced working culture, lots of bitchiness in meetings about other employees and teams as well as negative comments made about people in your own team which makes things very awkward. - Below-average pay. - Lack of recognition for most employees. The same people (who coincidentally are 'in' with the CEO) get the same formal recognitions time and time again, whereas everyone else who works just as hard and does just as well is completely ignored. - Constant turnover of staff in certain teams keeps everyone on edge and worried for their jobs, as well as making it difficult to build and maintain long-term plans that require those teams.

Pros

The best part of this company is the culture. Even though we all work remotely, there’s a lot of emphasis on us being connected. Everyone is really positive and supportive of one another and always celebrate one another’s success. When problems arise, there’s high focus on being solution oriented with the resources we have rather than hyper focusing on what we “should” have. Anyone with a negative attitude sticks out like a sore thumb and doesn’t last long. There’s also a ton of focus on employee well being with a number of initiatives to support our mental health and professional development. All of the leaders I report to, from my team leader up to the CEO, are all always accessible and quick to offer help and guidance. Hands down, best company I’ve ever worked for.

Cons

There are of course some cons as with anywhere. The only thing I say would be a con is that with a team spread all over the world, time zone differences can be inconvenient at times. We also don’t have a physical office to go to, so if that’s something important to you then this wouldn’t be a good fit.
