Pros

At this point - very few I now consider myself a former WMS employee, since SG has done everything in it's power to crush and obliterate any remnant of the WMS culture. This has only accelerated after the purchase of Bally. Bally, like SG, has a culture of penny pinching which would normally result in a match made in heaven. Alas the crushing debt load associated with these two purchase guarantee that the only ones making money through SG will be the the creditors.

Cons

I can't stress strongly enough how any potential employees should avoid this company. The culture is pure poison.

Pros

Great work/life balance, reliable teamwork and support from management, opportunities for growth and exposure to new skills.

Cons

Coaching/overseeing a team in itself has a set of cons, which is what I primarily handle on a daily basis. This comes with any job, but you will have people on your team who need to improve on things such as lack of communication, lack of effort, no work ethic, and lack of skills. Motivating them can be difficult at times, and then you always seem to have a few who do things to avoid work. An accumulation of all these factors subsequently creates more, unnecessary, and redundant work for us. These types of people tend to eliminate themselves out over time due to poor performance and/or quit.

Cons

work/life balance, management, office politics and favoritism, lack of organization and communication, very inclusive unless you're a woman and have an opinion, job titles do not match role expectations and job duties
