Pros
- WFH and 4 day work week - pay is decent compared to other agencies - most of the talent are really nice and you get to work with fun clients - Toronto team gets together occasionally which can be fun
Cons
- so. many. things. - first off, you need to fight for your promotions - unless you bring it up, it won't happen and even then, they set impossible benchmarks in order to be promoted - it can feel competitive within the team to secure jobs because the pressure to bill and to meet your goals are so high - upper management won't support you when a creator is being difficult but expects you to deal with it - it's like a sorority of white girls - they claim to value DEI, but it's all a facade. Everyone looks the same and they don't know how to manage their employees of colour and people keep leaving because they don't feel like they belong. Do better - HORRIBLE at taking feedback. If you say anything / try to provide feedback that they don't like, you'll be absolutely ostracized - this has been said many times, but the favouritism is insane. One of the co-founders and the managing director have clear favourites and whenever you bring something up to the managing director regarding her bestie (work and real life), she wouldn't respond well and spend time defending her instead of listening to the various grievances from half the team - employee turnover is really high because of how toxic it can feel. You spend a lot of time trauma bonding with your co-workers about how horribly managed this place is by the heads of talent and senior management
