People were very set in their ways and were not always willing to help or explain things to someone new. There was zero tolerance for mistakes. No one is perfect, so this isn't acceptable.
I was put into a position under a new manager who didn't know what he was doing (he had also just started). We were trying to switch over to a program that was already in use in Europe to produce MSDSs, but it was an impossible task. I would make a MSDS following the procedure I was given from Europe then sales and R&D would freak out about it having stuff in there that reacted out, repeat, repeat, repeat. I tried my very best to work with the program and with everyone involved, but it was a terribly frustrating ordeal. My manager even told me I had a bad attitude when I would explain my frustrations. At the peak of this, I was offered a job from a previous employer and ran as fast as I could.
