Pros

Great coworkers to start. The trauma bonds you make with others struggling under the same leadership are strong.

Cons

Leadership is the Issue: Unfortunately, Siteimprove is plagued by narcissistic leadership at the top. The CEO and CHRO are more concerned with self-aggrandizement than fostering a positive work environment for their employees. Nepotism and "homie hookups" are rampant among new hires, with past colleagues inevitably having their bridges burnt. This pattern of hiring based on personal connections rather than merit is a huge red flag. My Experience: The CEO and CHRO initially seemed like champions, but that facade quickly crumbled. Senior leaders immediately became the target once a convenient scapegoat was needed for a department's struggles when speaking to Nordic Capital. Look Elsewhere: Unless you thrive in a culture of blame, belittlement, and self-serving leadership, avoid Siteimprove. My recommendation to current and prospective employees is to look elsewhere for a company that values its people and fosters genuine professional development. The reviews are accurate: Siteimprove hired a company to remove true Glassdoor reviews and replace them with fake posts. Ask about attrition and thoroughly filter past review.

It's unfortunate to read that you had a negative experience while at Siteimprove. Though we love receiving employee referrals, we take accusations of nepotism seriously. If any Siteimprove employee was concerned about nepotism in the workplace, we'd encourage them to engage with their HR Business Partner or, drop us a line at feedback@siteimprove.com, an inbox monitored by our HR and Communications teams. To your point about Glassdoor removing reviews, it's likely that it was in violation of Glassdoor’s Community Guidelines and Practices. This is not something we, or a third-party company, can do.

Pros

I spent more than seven years at Siteimprove before leaving for another opportunity and ultimately choosing to return. That decision alone reflects how highly I view the company. The greatest strength of Siteimprove is its people. Throughout my career, I worked with leaders who genuinely cared about employee growth, development, and long-term success. The culture encourages collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning while maintaining high standards of performance. Siteimprove also provides meaningful opportunities for career progression. I was trusted with increasing responsibility over the years, which helped accelerate my growth as both a sales professional and leader. The company consistently promotes talented individuals and gives employees opportunities to expand their impact. Other highlights include: • Strong leadership focused on developing people, not just driving results • Collaborative culture with talented, supportive colleagues • Meaningful opportunities for internal growth and career advancement • A company mission and products that create real value for customers • Continued investment in innovation, AI, digital experience, accessibility, and analytics • High-caliber employees who genuinely want to see each other succeed

Cons

Most of the challenges I observed stem from growth and ambition rather than fundamental organizational issues. Siteimprove continues to invest heavily in innovation, AI, digital experience, and new market opportunities. With that level of investment, priorities can occasionally shift as the company adapts to customer needs and market changes. Success often requires flexibility and a willingness to embrace change. As the organization continues to evolve, there are opportunities to further strengthen cross-functional alignment and simplify execution across teams. This is a common challenge for companies balancing innovation with scale, and one that Siteimprove is actively working to improve.

Pros

What really stands out about this company is the culture. It’s a place where performance and collaboration go hand in hand , everyone is motivated to do their best, but there’s also a strong sense of teamwork and support. The product itself is excellent, not just because of its innovation but because the team behind it truly believes in what they’re building. There’s a shared pride in the work and a humility that keeps people focused on continuous improvement. It’s the kind of environment where you’re encouraged to grow, contribute, and feel part of something meaningful. Honestly, I’d describe it as a fantastic performance culture supported by great people and a product that genuinely makes an impact. The benefits are second to none with a large 401k match!

Cons

I wish I could of started working their sooner. The people I get to work with are top rate with a open level of communication.
