Pros
I have worked for Sobi for 2 years now. I have really enjoyed the people that I have had the opportunity to work with. They have a very nice work/life balance which includes "summer hours" through the summer where they shut down at 1:00 every Friday through Labor Day. Sobi is inclusive of all different types of DEI groups. There is really something for everyone. I have had the opportunity to participate in their mentorship programs for the last 2 years. This has allowed me to interact with various leadership within the organization to understand different role and opportunities. I also participated in their FIKA program which highlighted the FRSM role and reimbursement for Sobi. This is an area I am interested in for my future career step, so was great to have this "hands on" experience. There are many opportunities within Sobi. You have to be proactive to find them and develop our own career plans to work on with our managers. I find that there is a lot of autonomy within this organization. I have really enjoyed my last 2 years with Sobi. I hope to be able to continue on with this great organization.
Cons
They are very compliance focused. That was hard to get used to at first. However, I believe this helps keep us safe and honest. Only recently, has there been a lot of focus on tasks, as they are getting ready to re-organize. However, this has not been the norm with this organization.
