Pros

Great leadership! Listens to what you need and want, and then helps you to be able to do something you’re passionate about and enjoy your job doing it, while you make good money! I love my company, there are really no negatives other than the ones you will have with any salon or cosmetology job. The pro is that they are much less prevalent than the other places!

Cons

Jealousy and cattiness but by comparison it is much, much less than anywhere I’ve woeked in more than 17 years as a stylist! Really it’s just awesome, seriously!

Cons

The pay is excellent as long as you’re performance is strong and especially if your flexible with your schedule and full time. But if you’re not a good performer or super part time, this might not be the best place for you.

Pros

Great hourly pay with tips. Averaged about $38 to $40 an hour. Great starting place. They do offer training. The co-workers were nice at my location. Management does help you with flexible scheduling so if you have children, it works out great.

Cons

Burnout is real. Expected to complete service within an allotted short time. Too many clients come in that want expensive barbershop cuts but want to pay the lowest price (they really shouldn’t even go to sport clips for). Also, way too many clients with long hair wanting full scissor cuts. They won’t turn away clients even if the cuts they ask for are — are not something sport clips does or allows for a lot of time. TV’s get annoying after a while (too loud).
