Pros
Work-life balance is very much the emphasis of this bank. That is good for people at the later stage of their career with different priorities.
Cons
The employee evaluation is based almost entirely on your line manager and in my opinion not a fair and well-rounded assessment compared to the 360. The bulky HR department isn't helpful either, and you are left to fend for yourself in terms of development or search for appropriate opportunities within the bank. As it is such a huge organisation, there is hardly attention given to your career or development even if you are facing difficulties and sought help. In the same vein, expect all the bureaucracy that comes with it. Some groups are dominated by cliques or a certain race and promotions are based on relationships more than anything else. The systems are also very much behind the other banks and productivity could be much higher.
